Singani Colliery
- Singani Colliery is located on the Farm Zonnebloem 369 JS, which is situated 25 km north east of Middelburg, in South Africa’s Mpumalanga province.
- Singani is a fairly new opencast operation, which started in August 2014, and is now in full production. This operation consists of 2 minable seams, namely 2-Seam and 1-Seam. Singani coal is suitable for South African power plant consumption, South African local industries as well as other international markets.
- Unicoal entered into a full offtake agreement for all ROM produced at Singani Colliery at the start of Singani Operations in August 2014
- ROM coal is trucked 16 km south west of the colliery towards Middleburg where it is passed through a processing plant and washed to spec as required by Unicoal Customers.
